It's been a rough few years for Chris D'Elia on a personal level, and he's looking to bounce back with a set that takes some big swings against woke culture. He weaves a lot of these jabs perfectly into the show, talking about pop culture and other elements. Plus, his regular banter with fans that's still elite after all of these years in the business.

Chris D'Elia's showing that he's not afraid to push the boundaries with his show. Judging from some of the spoilers that are already out there regarding his set (Chris himself shared them, so it's fair to talk about them ... right?), he's pushing back on woke culture. Ironically, he's using superheroes and The Avengers in particular to do that. This is coming off the back of some legal issues that threatened to derail his career. To be fair here, he really didn't have many other options other than punching back and even making fun of himself. This Outta The Multiverse show originally had a very small run, particularly for someone as popular as Chris D'Elia. Like a TV series, though, fans at other stops loved it and saved that's why we'll have this Friday, May 9th, stop in Savannah.
It kind of goes without saying, but this show's not going to be for anyone who's easily offended. Then again, most comedy shows fall along these same lines. It's cool to see that Chris is still Chris on these live shows. He's doing the faces, and he's not afraid to make fun of everybody. Of all people, Spider-Man seemingly gets it really bad in this show. Which is kind of a shame; if you had to pick on a superhero, why choose the one with arguably the hardest personal life? Poor Spidy, but anyway, this is an entertaining show from start to finish!
The Johnny Mercer Theatre is an excellent venue to watch a comedy show. You won't have any trouble viewing the stage from any seat in the house. However, Chris D'Elia is big with the faces, so you may want to be closer to him so you don't miss that element of the show. At the same time, you'll have a better chance to be heckled by Chris D'Elia or tease him a bit if you're in the pit area near the stage.
