It’s amazing what the remaining members of Brick do to make sure that the legacy of the great Regi Hargis lives on. Plenty of members of the band are no longer with us, but those who remain are still pushing on and creating that sound they call “Dazz.” “Dazz” is not only the band’s most popular song, it’s pretty much the icon of the style of music that Brick virtually invented. That mixture of jazz and dance music with the squeaky vocals that became a staple in the 70s and even into the 80s. These are the dudes that many bands that came after them in rock, pop, and jazz need to thank. That’s neither here nor there, though; what’s important for this late August night is that the beats that they still play are gonna have you up and dancing in no time.
Let’s just get this one out of the way! Do Brick have some of the moves that they would bust out at their concerts in the '70s? Yeah … maybe not! The vibe, though, is still gonna to be there.
