Johnny Mercer Theatre is located right in the heart of Savannah Georgia and is one of the premier venues in the city to see live music and performances that come to Georgia. The Theatre seats over 10,000 folks in the complex - and this May, it’s the perfect place to celebrate your graduation with all your favorite artists on stage. Plies’ OFFICIAL GRADUATION CELEBRATION 2025 is guaranteed to be a vibe - and with Trap Beckham and Mook Boy warming up the crowd for Plies, like we said, you just gotta make sure to get here early. And this isn’t the only show Plies is coming out of retirement for - he’ll also be hitting stops all across the country during his Millenium Tour with Trey Songz and Bow Wow. Plies is going to perform at the MGM Grand Arena in Vegas, Barclays Center in NYC, Toyota Center in Houston, Start Farm Arena up in Atlanta, two nights at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, and of course - right here at Johnny Mercer on May 16th.
Plies is the ultimate southern rapper. And if you were around back in the early 2000s and 2010s, you absolutely heard some of his songs like Shawty and Bust It Baby on the radio an unhealthy amount of times during that time period - we not complaining about it though! Plies came up right around 2003, and after signing to the major record label Atlantic in 2007, he shot to stardom with songs like Hypnotized and his debut album The Real Testament. Features with Akon, T-Pain, and Ne-Yo helped shoot Plies up the charts - seeing his debut hit #2 on the BIllboard 200 and multiple top ten singles throughout that time period in the early 2000s. He was nominated for multiple BET awards and GRAMMYS, and Best R&B Collab at the Ozone Awards back in 2007.
