A Drag Queen Christmas is the longest-running drag queen tour in North America. For nine consecutive years, it has entertained and added more glitz and glam to the Holiday season in many cities. RuPaul's Drag Race alums are the performers of this well-loved tour, and they are back again for another year of Christmas in drag! Queens from Season 15 and All Stars Season 8 will comprise this year's roster. This is sure to be fun!
The touring show is brought by Murray & Peter Presents. For years, the event producer agency has spawned many and among the bests drag events. Among their first events from decades ago was with the queen of drag herself, RuPaul, for her "Rupaul: Live in Concert" tour. In the 2010s, the agency had a resurgence as RuPaul's Drag Race became a pop culture phenomenon. Its first touring show Drag Race Battle of the Seasons featured Season 4 and Season 5 contestants of the reality competition. After that was an array of drag queen shows featuring the best of the bests from the casts of every season.
The most popular they have produced is A Drag Queen Christmas. The tour premiered in October 2015. It featured fan-favorite queens like Alaska, Willam, Katya, Ginger Minj, and season 5 winner Jinkx Monsoon. It was a significant hit and received critical acclaim. The following year, it featured more queens and received more love from viewers. After the second major success of the tour, it has become a yearly tradition, visiting multiple venues in multiple cities in North America.
This year, A Drag Queen Christmas features the Season 15 stunners and All-Stars 8 contenders. Hosting the show will be season 10 and All-stars 5 alum Miz Cracker. The roster includes the newly crowned winner ( your favorite drag queen's favorite drag queen) Sasha Colby, with her season 15 co-cast Luxx Noir London, and Marcia Marcia Marica. From All-Stars 8, Jessica Wild, Jimbo, and Heidi N Closet will join them. OG queens also join them, who are All-Stars 4 winner Trinity the Tuck and the dancing queen Alyssa Edwards. Coming with them is "Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels" singer Todrick Hall.
